Career Guidance Lecture – MKSSS, Pune

A highly inspiring Career Guidance Lecture was organized by MKSSS, Pune as part of the Career Guidance Expo. The session guided students on making informed career choices and preparing for the rapidly evolving future.
The first speaker, Mr. Bhushan Kelkar (Country Manager – IBM University Relations and IIT Mumbai alumnus), highlighted the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence and emphasized the need to “Learn how to Learn,” develop critical thinking, and continuously upgrade skills. He also recommended a free seven-hour future-skills online course.
The second speaker, Mrs. Swati Namjoshi (Founder & Director, Sarthak Welfare Foundation), stressed the important role of parents in supporting students emotionally and helping them understand their interests while seeking expert advice when needed.
The third speaker, Mr. Rahul Kulkarni (Co-Founder, DoNew and former Google India Product Manager), encouraged students to take up internships, practical learning, and participate in competitions such as projects and Olympiads. He advised mastering at least two subjects deeply and beginning career preparation early.
The session also featured insights on the National Education Policy (NEP) and the importance of adaptability in a changing world. The event was graced by Mrs. Kanchan Satpute, Deputy Secretary of MKSSS, along with all Headmistresses of the Samstha.
The program proved to be highly motivating and provided students with a clear direction for their future.
