Field Visit

     An educational field visit to the Post Office was organized for the Grade 3 students of our school on 25th September 2025.

     The objective of this visit was to provide students with information about the functioning, services, and daily operations of the post office.

       During the visit, various departments of the post office were shown to the students.

      They were informed about the process of sending letters, parcel services, speed post, money orders, and also about the savings schemes and other financial services offered by the post office.

      Additionally, important schemes like the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Recurring Deposit (RD) were explained.

Concepts such as confidentiality policies, customer safety, official responsibility for documents, and the principle of reliable service were also conveyed.

      All questions raised by the students were patiently listened to and answered satisfactorily by Mr. Sachin Sawant, an officer from the post office.

      The field visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the students, providing them with an opportunity to learn new things through real-life experience.
